Cairns Stock Photos I Love Cairns’ Visual Assets

Every member of our troupe of three loves taking photos so when we are out and about, it’s game on, and while none of us are full time photo professionals, we have amassed quite the library of visual assets recording our adventures in Cairns and across our region. Our images and videos have been taken using many different devices from our arsenal of drones, phones, underwater gear, action cameras and mirrorless hybrids and everything you see on this website and in our socials, is our material. We do get requests from time to time from people wanting to use our images for promotional purposes, and we are happy to do this but have a simple request to make in return. If you like what you see and you want to use any of our visual assets across any of your online platforms – websites and socials – we simply ask that you acknowledge where the image or video came from and provide us with a “do follow” link to our website, please see below example…

Like what you see and want to use our photos or footage? No problem – just get in touch with us to discuss your requirements and we can supply them to you – as long as we get acknowledgment and a link – we’re happy.

I Love Cairns Guidelines for Using Our Images And Videos

Our day job is as owners and operators of Cairns website design agency RJ New Designs. As such, we have optimised the images and assets on the I Love Cairns website for swift loading. If you want the originals for the purpose of promoting our destination and the places we’ve been, then please get in touch with us to discuss your plans. If they are being used on a website, then we’d appreciate a  backlink to our site. If it’s for social media, then please acknowledge our pertinent social handles:

We Are Passionate About Our Adventures

While we do not claim to be full time photo professionals when it comes to our photos and videos, we love taking them and sharing them.

For Julie, this passion started in her childhood, as her Dad was an avid photographer. The journey continued at university, in conjunction with her Bachelor of Journalism degree, where a year was spent on photography covering everything from composition, to developing your own film and printing your own photos (yes people, before digital cameras were around). Happy to say those days are over!

Richard began his photographic journey in 2010 with his first SLR camera. Highly competitive by nature, he silently pits his skills against Julie’s, even though she remains oblivious to this silent rivalry. Richard has delved deep into numerous online photography courses and invests endless hours expanding his expertise via YouTube.

Then along came Ethan and he’s been itching to get his hands on camera since he was 4, although these days he prefers the GoPro and is desperate for a drone.

Anyway, we all love taking photos and videos, almost as much as we love going on adventures. We feel lucky to live in Cairns, which offers so much outstanding natural beauty, and are committed to sharing the many places we see and visit with a broader audience via this website. So, if you want to help promote this amazing part of the world and our visual assets can help, then drop us a line and let’s make a plan.
