It’s a dinner cruise, so I’m sure you want to know about the food. It’s a hot and cold buffet which has something for everyone. There’s fresh prawns and oysters and a selection of cold meats and salads, as well as an array of hot dishes including herb-crusted barramundi, harissa chicken, vegetable and noodle stir-fry, moussaka, potato bake and salt and pepper squid. There was more than ample food for everyone, with many guests making return visits to the buffet during the cruise.
The spread of sweet treats was a delicious way to end the dining experience. I loved the selection of local cheese and crackers, with a fruit platter adding some freshness, Ethan loved the mini pavlovas and Richard rated the mini white chocolate and Kahula cheesecakes. In addition to the complimentary drink on arrival, the crew provide table service throughout the cruise, or you are also welcome to visit the on-board bar, which was stocked with a selection of beers, wines and softdrinks – they also do cocktails.
